How to play extremly loud on bass trombone?
I'm looking for some exercises that will help me raise my dynamic level specifically all the notes below low F F attachment notes and past pedal F. My goal is to achieve a sound louder then an entire big band or brass band playing at fortissimo. I've heard it before at a performance so I know it is possible.I am actually a tuba player and have played it for 6 years I've got good chances of getting into music performance so I am very aware of breathing, dropping jaw, air support and using the diaphragm so no need to get into too much detail.I use a Bach 2G which I know is relatively small compared to other bass trombone mouthpiece. Should i be playing on a different mouthpiece? I'm also wondering if it would be any different if I were to practise with a practise mute because obviously this task will be disturbing someone whether at school or at home.
How many king bass trombones still exist?
Ok, I own a King 7B trombone and I'm always curious to find more that are for sale, and in the 3 years I've had my horn, I have seen one other for sale. Does anyone know how many King 7B and 8B horns still are out there?
