I have looked online left and right searching for a cigar box guitar for my boyfriend's birthday but I'm not knowledgeable about music or instruments. I don't understand the differences between the types or number of strings or anything for that matter and I am hoping someone can direct me to a website that can help me because I do not feel comfortable buying one without any knowledge of them. Cigar box guitar building issues..?
i want to build a cigar box acoustic guitar....i wanted to know what kind of wood is bst for it...i dont know much of carpentry so i prefer a wood like balsa or asswood which can be cut using kitchen knifes...and one more thing would a balsa wood guitar last long..or will it hold on to the tension loong enough...please help people. .. P.S. I dont have a cigar box...i am gonna build one...
