Bassoon, saxophone, or cor anglais?
I currently play bassoon as my primary instrument, and I have been playing for two years now, and I'm playing in the school's grade 11 band, for those who have played six years. I also play alto and bari sax, which I've played for one year, at the same skill level. I also play flute. As one may be able to see, I have too much on my proverbial plate. I am considering playing English horn cor anglais for band. Would this be too difficult, or should I stick with bassoon, or drop it and play saxophone? If that was too vague, my real question is how difficult is English horn for a bassoonist with lots of experience on saxophone?Please note the only lines that matter are the bottom two and top three. The rest is all jibberjabber.
