Where can I meet an available countertenor?
Is there some kind of dating service?
Am i a baritone, tenor and countertenor?
I'm not sure what my lowest note is, but i think it's between C2 and E2, in the modal register my highest note is E5, i can possibly get higher, i have before been able to reach the 6th octave using the modal register but only by accident, i'm sure i could reach A6 at the highest in the modal register if i trained my voice. In the falsetto register i can reach E6 and possibly F6 if i warmed up and trained, maybe more.Am i Baritone, Tenor or Countertenor?Or would i be classed as someone outside those ranges?Honestly, the lower notes were guessed, i'm possitive i can sing into the bass range and very certain i can sing as high as i said, i used my guitar and sang the notes to see, i also once tested with the " Do ri me fa so la ti" thing Sorry if it's wrong to test, i've reached 4 and 4 and a half octaves from doing that so guessed it's very low.I'd also like to say it is possible to have a range that wide, Celine Dion can sing as low as Bb2 and Dani Filth can also sing VERY high.I'd be most comfortable to say my range starts at E2 G2
How can I reach the countertenor voice?
Im tenor but I would like to have a better voice range. What techniques I can do or exercises.
What are good examples of famous Male singers and what type they are example tenor bass baritone countertenor?

How do you know if your countertenor?

Am I a countertenor????????????
So, in chest voice im a baritone A3 G 4 , but with falsettto i can reach up to soprano E6, however it becomes a little hard for me to do vibratto in C6, and i cant do it in E6. I CAN reach E6, sing comfortably well, a little strained...DUH Its my highest note . But i can't do vibrato. Am i a mezzo sopranist countertenor or a sopranist?
Can I be a male contralto / countertenor?
I am a 17 year old male, and i am pretty sure that my vocal range is E3 F 5, i can confortably sing every note in that range without falsetto, and i am sure my passagios are at D4 and D5, can I be a male contralto or countertenor even though I am no longer a treble, i havent been catrated and i am a perfecty normal man? I can sing high notes but my speaking voice isnt much different from the other guys my age. I was thinking that i might not be hitting the excact note on the keeboard but an octave lower but even then, I've been doing some internet research and my passaggios and the length of my range doesnt fit in any other voice type. I would really apreciate any opinion, and i promise stars for a satisfactory one.I'm sorry, by " catrated" i ment " castrated" , and by " passagios" i ment " passagi" . I havent done singing lessons but i practise a LOT at home, i learn techniques by the internet, i promise i do not force my throat or anything. I know that you may think " he might have looked for a few singing tips at the internet, but i literaly spend 5 hours a day practising and learning techniques from different sources, I even know the structure of the larinx and all that stuff.I'm sorry, again, promise this is the last additional detail. What I precisely wanted to know is what are the chances for me being a countertenor? is the idea too crazy or unlikely? are they frequent at my age? will i become a tenor or baritone as my voice develops completely?Sorry but i have to break my promise. I think i may have a relevant detail, when i was younger, say 13 14 my voice was really high pitched considerably more than my school companions , and everyone kept confusing my voice with my mother's by the phone or made comments like " with more hair you can be a woman" or " mocking my voice with their falsetto regiter" or simply saying it was irritating. This was before my voice cracked of course, and i figure out that its probably due to the fact that it cracked a little bit late, but even so i thought it could be sort of relevant.

Can countertenors belt too?
I'm going to sing " Happy" by Leona Lewis.. It's in my range, well in my range. I can sing a C2 to an Eb6. I just don't want to ruin it by not being about to belt out the chorus. I'm not trying to sound like Leona, I doubt anyone could, but how do you acquire the skill of belting as a Countertenor? If that's even possible..?P.s. I'm a huge Leona Lewis fan And I'm 15, and a boy, if you don't know what countertenor means, please don't answer.
Ammmm I a countertenor?
I'm having a lot of trouble finding my natural singing voice, I will be taking voice lessons next semester but until then I want to be able to work on my own material.I have a maximum vocal range from F2 F5, however the two notes at the lowest and highest register of my voice are shaky. I seem to have a much more powerful bass voice then I do a tenor at least to my own ear , but I'm in love with singing in falcetto because it seems to come a lot more naturally and it seems to be where my head voice is as well. Aside from occasional straining from trying to be lazy i'm working on it I don't have any pain from singing, however I do feel tenseness when I swallow occasionally and I'm actively working on paying attention to my body to prevent this.I don't want to cause any damage pushing myself and I know it's difficult to judge what type of singer I am over the internet, but I'll take whatever advice I can
Is Mika a countertenor?
This is kinda weird but I kind of wanted to know is the British popstar Mika a Counter tenor?
Can female altos sing like countertenors?
Is it possible to learn? I'm not really talking about pitch with this question, as female contraltos or mezzo sopranos and male countertenors tend to sing material written in the same general range. I'm talking more about the tone produced by male countertenors can women produce that sound if trained to sing a certain way? How would a woman go about learning to sing like that?
If there are true female tenors, wouldn't that imply that some women could be classified as countertenors?
I did ask a while back if there were women who could actually be classified as tenors. Some of the answers indicated that some women could even be classified lower. So if any of these voice types did sing in a traditional mezzo or soprano range, by definition they would be considered as countertenors, would thwy not?
Is Michael Jackson a Countertenor?
But, I really think that Michael Jackson has an countertenor vocal range that he was singing falsetto.
