I bought myself a Dobro and I know basic guitar theory as I have been playing guitar for a few years. Any ways, I go to a bluegrass festival every year and I want to bring my Dobro instead of my guitar this year. But I have one problem. You tune the Dobro to open G so how do you play in other keys without a capo? Are their open scales for some popular keys? I know this might sound stupid but I am having trouble figuring it out.
