What's a good cheap synthesizer for a beginner?
I was thinking of picking up a MicroKORG, though they're a little bit out of my price range. Are there any other keyboards synths out there that offer roughly the same functionality, but for a lower price? Also, I'm aware that there are tons of free VST plugins out there, but I want an actual physical keyboard that I can play on, even if it's just a dumb MIDI slave that relies on an external synth.
What's a really good synthesizer to buy to make R&B beats?
I was about to buy Roland Juno Di. But I have no idea or clue about which keyboard is right for me I don't want to buy a keyboard without getting some information from people who might know about this a little bit. I want to make R& B style beats. Juno Di just felt right in my hands while I was test playing them.. I don't exclusively want to make R& B style songs, But I have to start somewhere . I also like to make Rap style beats , ethnic sounds, Jazz etc..Also I see that producers like Timbaland uses Yamaha Motif Series High price range I am confused what to buy.
