I'm looking for a jazz/ vibraphone song called "Work song"?
I think it's by Roy Ayers, but I'm not sure. But it's a very beautiful jazz song that I heard twice on the radio high school radio . It's not a new song. It sounds like it was made in the mid late 70s or early 80s. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? What kind of mallets for vibraphone in jazz band?
hi, i play the vibes in jazz band, and i dont have any mallets, i used the ones around the room, and they are all yarn, and i noticed the yarn mallets dont produce tat much sound, so ik i shouldn't buy yarn mallets,so what kind of mallets should i buy and what size? soft, medium, or hard also i forgot, someone told me to buy yarn or cord mallets..so which one shuld iget.. xP

I've never owned such music......it's the sort of " cool" jazz that we often hear on certain films and series from the sixties and seventies. I'm thinking of tunes like " Left Bank 2" by the Noveltones. I don't know any names of any other groups. Thanks for your help.

I was wondering how many calories you burn playing Vibraphone, Marimba, Xylophone, etc. For instance, I am in a winter percussion group and we practice from 10 AM 7 PM with 1 hour for lunch . If anyone has any idea, that would be awesome.
