My main instrument is french horn. I also play trumpet. I practice them both very often. Does playing trumpet screw up my french horn embouchure? They have very different embouchures.

I need to record brass instruments, (mainly a trumpet) how should I go about recording them?
I use a Snowball Ice Blue microphone and every time I record my trombone I get a really scratchy, dull sound that makes me sound awful. I and a friend are recording this song and shes playing the lead which is trumpet. I'm afraid I need to adress this problem now before we even try with hers. I'm on a budget if you refer me to any other microphone brands. Be aware of that. Thank you.

I'm really determined to learn a new instrument during concert season preferably a brass instrument , and I'm wondering what you would all suggest. There was this band I found a few years back. I can't remember their name or the name of the song that I liked, but I can remember parts of itin the video they're partying around a swimming pool, and there's clip of the band playing. Do dentures prevent playing a brass instrument?
Recently I've been contemplating taking up the trumpet, trombone, and possibly tuba. However, about a year ago I had my upper teeth pulled and in the future I may have to get lower dentures.My dad told me about an old buddy of his who refused to wear dentures because he thought they would interfere with his ability to play the harmonica something my dad disproved when he got his own , but given that brass instruments require a different technique than harmonica would dentures interfere?

HiyaI'm currently planning on performing the jazz and R& B song 'Help Yourself', originally by Amy Winehouse with a group of friends for a school concert, however I'm not yet sure of the instruments used I know there are two guitars that I can hear, a drummer, a piano organ player another person shaking a 'shaker', a bass player, but then there are a few brass instruments that can first be heard at the start...I was wondering what instrument is being played?I'm pretty sure it's a saxophone, but if anyone could even tell me what kind of saxaphone tenor or alto then that would be great, any any other information of the instruments in the song would be fantastic youtube.com watch?v hFp 7Zr3ziw Many thanks, Jack
