Why are guitar shop employees pricks?
maybe its just me but at every guitar shop wether it be local or if its guitarcenter has very judgemental and douchebagy employees and act like i know nothing about my own passion or something. its gotten to the point were i dont wana take my guitar in to get it setup i switched tunings and i just hate doing it myself because i lost my truss rod cover and i dont wana have to deal with listening to them make their comments about how i shud take better care of my guitar....idk maybe its just were i live

What to do at guitar shop?
I bought my first guitar on ebay so i am new at this. I want to upgrade guitars and i am going to go to a local guitar shop. I am left handed so there wont be much of a lefty selection. If i find a guitar i like, do i just ask them to restring it left handed or what? and how much is it going to cost for them to string one of their right handed guitars lefty?
How much would it cost and how long would it take for a guitar shop to replace a few frets on my old acoustic?

it is candy apple red, almost a glitter look to it, the real unique part of the guitar is how the tail has a notch cut out of it, its hard to explain. but it was a bad ass guitar and my buddy thinks it real old, anyone have any idea what this guitar may be?

Who else dislikes guitar shops?
Every experience I've had in a guitar shop has been a bad one, today I was looking to trade in my guitars so I could afford a Gibson LP Standard and when I got there it wasn't too busy which is unusual, but I ask for them to pull down a 3000 even Les Paul so I could try it out and I'm getting attitude from the guy, so I decided to leave, this place is usually alright but mst places it's crowded, one cabel for 20 guys trying out guitars. There is no volume limit so everyone has it cranked, when you're playing everyone is staring making it uncomfortable. is it just me??I understand completely, I wouldn't be comfortable lending off my 3000 piece of equipment, but I went in there with the most respect possible and asked politely, with clear intentions to purchase, to try out a guitar and I got attitude then he stood over me the whole time, then tried to sell me a Gibson SG Robot guitar, phh.
