i have only had 2 kinds when i was 11 and a half i had a first act guitar that sucked and now at 14 and a half i have a hand crafted Hohner guitar that works fantasticly
How hard is it to learn guitar?
Hey, I really want to learn to play guitar. I don't know if this is a bad idea or not so please be honest with me. Do you think it's possible to learn to play guitar through youtube videos and websites alone? I'm not looking to become a professional guitar player or anything like that, but I also don't want to get paid lessons, as I would have to pay for them and I already have a busy schedule and I'm only fifteen so I can't drive myself anywhere So, do you think that's possible or would that just be a waste of money for me to buy a guitar and then not be able to play it? That also brings me to my second question how much would it cost? I'm not looking for anything fancy just a simple acoustic guitar that has all the strings and such, and will sound okay. Do you think I could find one for around a hundred dollar or less, or would that be inpossible?Sorry, this is kinda long, thanks in advance for your help I don't mind if you're just honest and say that's not possible, but I really do hope it is
I have a guitar question!?
I'm learning to play the guitar, and friday I have my next lesson.I'm suppose to know this, but I forgot it anyway... So here's the question When you hit the low E, and your finger is pressed on the low E string on the first fret, it becomes F.Yes?Okay, so I need to know exactly what's that called, and like I know the next fret,w hile pressing low E, becomes F sharp and or G flat. Then the next is G.Could you give me a pic. of what each fret does. I know, it sounds confusing, but I am rlly confused, so therefore my Q is confusing.lol srry
Best Distortion guitar effects pedal around £60?
I'm currently using a strat with a Line 6 Spider III amp. This is the first effects pedal I've ever bought, I want to get distortion and keep it around 60. I am looking for a more Matt Bellamy ish tone, I know he uses a fuzz factory but they are far too expensive D and generally John Frusciante guitar solo tones, a bit like the Slane Castle live intro etc. I have thought about the Big muff pi, however it sounds a bit too messy if you know what I mean, I am looking for something with a 'crisper' sound. Hope someone can help, cheers.

High quality but affordable acoustic guitar?
I have been playing guitar for about 5 months now,so I am well past the absolute beginner stage and I have started playing more complicated things. I have been playing on a Johnson JG 620, a cheap o but fairly decent guitar. However, it is completely laminated. I am looking for a high quality yet affordable acoustic guitar, with a dreadnaught body shape and preferably a solid top, not laminate a.k.a " select" top. My budget is up to 300 dollars, no more. Any suggestions? And PLEASE don't say " just go to musicians friend and look for one" .

What is the best spec or features of Guitar for me?
I'm looking to buy an electric guitar, but i still don't know what is the features, and spec that i really need and fix to my style and comfort.I used to play classical guitar for 5 years, and i learn classical for 2 years, then i move to pop music.I can't proceed my classical guitar skill because i used to memories the song, not to read the note.My first guitar is a cheap guitar, which sometimes get my hand hurt.Right now i have my acoustic steel guitar, Jasmine, which is also a cheap guitar, which I'm not comfortable to play it also.i think i will give it away to my friend who want to learn guitar.Right now, i have with me my friend's electric guitar, Squire. If i play it too long, my hand will get in pain, especially when i play a bar chord.i remember i've tested Fender Stractocaster of their 70th anniversary which cost about $600 or more, I like the way it sound. I didn't test for the bar chord, but i just like it. I also test my friend's Ephiphone Les Paul, sometimes it get pain also, but it feel better than my friend's start.the one thing that i notice is that i like to strum guitar like an acoustic guitar, so when the first time i strum electric guitar, especially strat, i feel uncomfortable with it. i just love Fender Startocaster sound, because if you play the clean sound, when you do the slow rock, it resonate the sound, of the three below string, which is 1,2, and 3 string. but, after i do some research, fender strat got many variable, which make me confuse, esp with the pickup, and the radius, and neck. I play church music, like Hillsong, planetshakers.i play J rock, and J pop.i also play, song that encourage people, like when you believe, and so on...I also play classical music could you guys give me any idea, or suggestion about this Thanks
Guitar to Uke chords?
I was wondering if there was a way to change guitar chords to ukulele chords easily. Could it be done with a capo? Or is it super hard?I dont mean plain old chord charts. I mean if there is a song that i cant find a uke tab, can i use a guitar tab instead, and it still be the same?
