im trying to be a one man band and i need drums with my guitar and i creates my own foot drum type of thing with a tamborine that i hit ontop of a indian snare type drum and i mic it and it sounds good, but what else could i do seeing as how i dont have money for real drum set pieces and i wanna stand not sit, any sugestions?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of some good percussion instruments that are portable. Right now, I know about the Spoons, and Bongos, but I was wondering if someone else had any ideas. This would mainly be for a possible camping trip that I'm going on, someone said that they might bring a guitar for campfire songs so I figured I might as well bring something as well, though I'm certainly not asking for instruments that would be good for only campfire songs. Also, a few nights ago, I went contra dancing, and one of the bands members had what looked like a regular bowl, and he was playing it as a sort of drum with brushes. Does anyone know what instrument this is, or is it just a regular bowl? Thanks.
